Here comes the sun...
Did you know...
...that on this side of the equator the sun rises in the east (wait, wait, wait!!!) and than travels via NORTH until it finally sets in the west???
I had a quiet confusing discussion whether my room faces north
(as I was convinced, because I never get sun)
or south (as my south african friend was convinced, because I never get sun).
Basic truths of world-view concepts were seriously unhinged and fundamentally shaken…
(I only say:
Im Osten geht die Sonne auf,
im Westen wird sie unter gehn,
im SUEDEN nimmt sie ihren Lauf,
im NORDEN ist sie NIE zu sehn)
But I think I can get used to it ;)
